Candidate Privacy Notice
Specific to candidates in a MOOR Recruitment search process.
Last updated 2026-08-08
01
Scope
This notice applies to individuals we approach, consider, or represent in a search. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy; where the two differ on candidate data, this notice applies.
02
How we find you
Executive search is research-led, so we may approach you without your having applied for anything. Sources are professional and public: industry networks, professional platforms, referrals, and company information.
If you would rather not be contacted about opportunities, tell us and we will record that.
03
Confidentiality
Your interest in a role is confidential. We do not disclose your name, your current employer, or the fact that you are in a process to anyone outside the mandate without your agreement.
We do not contact referees or your current employer without your explicit permission.
04
What we hold
Career history, qualifications, our own assessment notes against the brief, and the compensation information you choose to share. Special-category data is not sought and should not be sent to us.
05
Retention and your control
We keep candidate records so we can approach you about relevant future mandates. You can ask at any time to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted — write to info@moor-recruitment.com. Deletion requests are actioned unless we are legally required to retain something.
